Judgment day
When as a child I feared the day When heaven and earth would pass away My heart was calmed, my fears allayed When wood and nail and flesh were raised
When at the foot of cross raised high I saw my Savior in the sky I knelt before the only way To be redeemed on Judgment day
On Judgment day I will not fear The wrath of God Though it be near My hope in Jesus ransom stayed Released from guilt on Judgment day
To lose my life and claim the cross Is sure to be the final loss For in release my soul does gain The life of Christ that will remain
When a the seat where Judgments passed The fire consumes the wood and chaff The gold and silver that endures Will form a crown I give my Lord
On Judgment day I will not fear The arm of God will draw me near My hope in Jesus found secure Ill enter in forevermore
